A Perfect Weekend!

Trev and I have spent a lot of time apart this summer. He has very little vacation time so unfortunately we had to vacation separately  this year. With our anniversary coming up we both wanted to make sure we could spend some quality time together. Of course, our anniversary happened to fall on the first day of school for Trev. Lovely. So we decided to getaway the weekend before. We, once again, headed up to beautiful Park City for a little R & R. We stayed at the Park City Peaks Hotel. It was the best weekend getaway ever. We had no plans, no agenda, just the two of us enjoying Park City and being together. We ate, we shopped, we slept, we laughed, we reminisced, we planned, we set goals. It was perfect!

I can honestly tell you that I am more in love with Trevor than I have ever been. He is my best friend, he is my rock, he is my shoulder to cry on, he is my partner in crime, he is my everything. The past two years have not been a cake walk by any means, but I wouldn't change a thing, We have both grown and learned so much. I could not ask for a better companion. I am so excited for what is in store for us together as a couple and as a family.

Thank you sweetie for all that you do for me, for putting up with me, for loving me unconditionally and for making me laugh until I cry. Here's to a million more years together!!

Here is a little video I made of us to celebrate. How handsome is he? Wahoo!

Happy Anniversary!!

May 2, 1986. That is the day my parents were sealed for time and all eternity. 25 years ago today! And more in love today then they ever have been. What a wonderful example of love they have been to me. They are truly the greatest example of what a marriage should be. Life has not been a cake walk, by any means, but somehow throughout it all they remember to always love and cherish each other. They never raise their voices at each other, they make everyone decision together as a team, they go to the temple once a week. They still hold hands and kiss each other. I am so grateful to have them as an example to myself and my husband in my marriage and I am so grateful they are my parents. The Lord knew exactly what he was doing when he sent me to them.

Mom and Dad, thank you for being such wonderful parents, for raising us so well, for always loving us and teaching us the Gospel. Thank you for loving each other and showing us what a marriage should be. Thank you for all the sacrifices you have made in my behalf and always loving me unconditionally. I am proud to be your daughter. I love you both more than you will ever know. I hope you have a wonderful day and get to celebrate an amazing 25 years of happiness and love. Again, thank you so much for all you have done for me and the rest of your children.

Hope you have many, many more years of happiness together.

I love you,

Cassidy Elizabeth

Also, shout out to Mike and Lauren Adamson & Chris & Michael Anne Bailey on both of your 2nd Anniversaries, today! Love you!
