Lately, I have been the biggest dreamer. I have a lot of time to think on my way to and from work and at nights when Trev is at school or the gym. I have so many "dreams" it is almost overwhelming. I dream about what I think my kids will look like, I dream about the kind of mom I want to be, I dream about a house and how I will decorate it. I dream about how our lives will be in 5-10 years. I dream about living on the East Coast somewhere or on a Southern Plantation. I dream about watching my boys play football and I dream about Trev being a daddy and having our little girls wrapped around his finger. I think every newlywed wife dreams of all those things but the dreams I find myself thinking about the most are being the best Cassidy that I can be. I want to be like the Tuohy family in "Blind Side", I dream about going to Africa and helping there. I dream about becoming a school teacher or working with special needs kids. I dream about being a journalist and traveling the world, I dream about owning my own flower shop or candy store. I guess what I am getting at is, as of right now in our lives the door is WIDE OPEN. And I get so excited thinking about what is to come. Trev still is undecided in a major and as much as i hate that because it would be nice to know the basic direction we will be heading, it really is exciting right now. All of these dreams "could" happen! (wishful thinking) Anyway, I love where I am at in life right now, I love marriage and I love my sweet husband.
On another note seeing as Thanksgiving was last week I of course have been thinking of all the things I am grateful for and because I stink and keeping a journal I need to write it down somewhere, so here it goes! (feel free to stop reading whenever)
I am thankful for:
My job
Trev's job
A house to live in
My car
My wonderful in-law's
My sweet dear mother
Wonderful friends throughout the years
G-chat with Jaim
My temple marriage
The gospel
My health
My 3 adorable brothers
Sammie Sue.. she is such a light in my life.
My hardworking, amazing father
My funny, sweet, amazing husband.
My 2nd family is California
Satchel dog
My life in general.
I could keep going but then it just starts to get ridiculous. I love this time of year and I truly have so much to be grateful for.
Well, this is me just thinking out loud. Way boring I apologize.
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Love you all,
Cass
