Lately...

A little update with us, the Woodbury's!

Valentines Day
We spent Valentines day up in Idaho with my family. Not the ideal way to spend your first Valentines as a married couple, but it was a blast and we made up for it later! My cousin Shelby had his farewell in Blackfoot so we decided to venture up there for the weekend. Despite being with family, we were still able to celebrate. I woke up with a beautiful red rose on my pillow, then a dozen yellow roses and a very yummy bottle of perfume with my breakfast. I love visiting my family in Idaho and I really do miss it a lot. We had a great time relaxing, laughing and of course eating our little fat kid hearts out!

Weekend Getaway
2 weekends ago Trev and I decided we needed some alone time. Our lives are so crazy we hardly have time to just be. So we booked a room at this cute little hotel downtown and had a ball. We went down late Saturday afternoon, checked into our room watched a little olympics until we were hungry, then we went to our favorite restaurant Rodizio Grill. I don't know what my deal is, but I could eat steak everyday, so naturally I was in heaven. After our delicious dinner we were trying to decide if we wanted to venture to the Jazz game or play it more low key. We decided to go catch a flick. We saw "When in Rome". We loved it, yes a little cheesy at times, but so refreshing to see a good clean uplifting movie. We had such a great time and I was in heaven that I got to spend almost a full 48 hours with my hubby with no distractions. We will definitely be doing that again soon!

Baby Shower
This passed weekend all of us girls threw Carson and Sean a couples baby shower. It was a riot! We had so much fun. We made delicious Cafe Rio burrito's, seven layer dip and browine sundae's for dessert. So yummy! Then we played the diaper game (you pass around diapers that have melted candy bars in them and you have to try and guess which candy is in which diaper) I about died when Jake and Dan started dry heaving! It was hilarious! Then we had a bottle drinking contest and we opened presents! I cannot wait for little baby Nixon to get here! We love Sean and Carson and we are so excited to see their little bundle of joy!

Disneyland
At the end of this month we get to go to California with Trev's family for Jordan's birthday. We got a surprise phone call from Trevor's mom last week asking if we could squeeze away from work for a few days of fun. Of course we said yes. We are so excited. It will be a much need vacation and I haven't been to Disneyland for about 12 years! I am ecstatic to say the least!

Well that is about all for now, just living the good life.
Hope all is well with you.

Xoxo,

Cassidy

You're still dirty even when you leave out details. Just so you know.

K I Literally laughed out loud for like 5 minutes when I read the part about the boys dry heaving. Not sure why that was so funny to me! Have so much fun in Cali! Hope it's good weather for you! Love your guts!
