A Perfect Weekend!

Trev and I have spent a lot of time apart this summer. He has very little vacation time so unfortunately we had to vacation separately  this year. With our anniversary coming up we both wanted to make sure we could spend some quality time together. Of course, our anniversary happened to fall on the first day of school for Trev. Lovely. So we decided to getaway the weekend before. We, once again, headed up to beautiful Park City for a little R & R. We stayed at the Park City Peaks Hotel. It was the best weekend getaway ever. We had no plans, no agenda, just the two of us enjoying Park City and being together. We ate, we shopped, we slept, we laughed, we reminisced, we planned, we set goals. It was perfect!

I can honestly tell you that I am more in love with Trevor than I have ever been. He is my best friend, he is my rock, he is my shoulder to cry on, he is my partner in crime, he is my everything. The past two years have not been a cake walk by any means, but I wouldn't change a thing, We have both grown and learned so much. I could not ask for a better companion. I am so excited for what is in store for us together as a couple and as a family.

Thank you sweetie for all that you do for me, for putting up with me, for loving me unconditionally and for making me laugh until I cry. Here's to a million more years together!!

Here is a little video I made of us to celebrate. How handsome is he? Wahoo!

Venting

Warning! I am about to be really rude.

I have had some pointless things on my mind lately and I really just want to vent. Sam is going to laugh at me, but mostly what I have to say involves celebrities and not even anyone that I really know.

First, I hate Tyra Banks. Don't anyone try to convince me to like her. She is NO Oprah, her fashion sense sucks, she is not an author and she is OLD. Yes, we know you were a hot Vicki's model when you were 20, but now you are old and lame. Retire.

Second, I don't get Glee. I am not a Glee hater but I will NEVER understand the Lea Michele fascination. She has the largest BEAK I have ever seen. Woof. Double woof!

Third, guilty as charged. I love the Bachelor, The Bachelorette and Bachelor Pad. But for the LOVE!!! Why would they bring back the two most annoying females to ever grace the TV screen EVERRRR!!! Honestly, Vienna and Melissa make me want to poke my eye balls out with shards of glass. Oh my lanta! I am getting annoyed just thinking about them. But Graham is hot and if I wasn't married I would track his cute butt down and....

Fourth, a little off topic. I love Pinterest. We all do. But, I am really OVER people who re-pin EVERYTHING someone else, or myself pins. One or two re-pins is fine all 300.. not okay!

Fifth, on the topic of Pinterest. I am really tired of ruffles, felt flower headbands and cake pops. We need new ideas people!

I think that is all I have for today. I feel much better.

Oh hello!

No one remembers about your blog or comments on it when it is private. So.. here we are again. Hope you're happy. Geeze, I haven't felt like blogging in eons, so for my absence I will give you a quick update on our life.

We are still living downtown. We fall in love with it more and more everyday. We are both still working and Trev is chugging through school.

My family up and moved from this beautiful house in Idaho

to St. George about three weeks ago and are already LOVING it. We went down over the Fourth and I never wanted to leave. I imagine in the future we will find ourselves living there.

Our third sister, Bailee Jane Hunsaker got married June 25th. She was the most beautiful bride I have ever seen. We are soo happy for you and Mr. Hunt!!
Sam got home from FRANCE. I missed her so much. She is now in St. G with the fam, trying to figure out her never venture in life.
Curtis is home and taken.. ALREADY! Shortly, after he got home his "friend" Marine from France flew out to stay with the Woodbury's for about a month. She is a convert to the church and Curtis helped baptize her. She is a sweetheart. The only disadvantage is she is French and lives in France. Curtis lives here.. we will see what happens.

I feel like we have already had an eventful summer, I swear we are never home.
Every weekend we are here or there. Life really is great right now. We are totally enjoying all the time we get to spend together. I swear every night we find ourselves laughing so hard we are crying or can't breath. I really couldn't ask for a better husband, marriage or life. I feel very blessed.

My dear, sweet friend Jessica had her baby last Sunday a MONTH early. We are so happy for her and her little family. We pray everyday that Luke will get big enough so they can take him home. We love you Jess & Bryce.

Today is my littlest baby brother's 13th birthday. I want to cry. STOP GROWING. But, seriously. Quinnie I love you so much. I am so grateful for you and the amazing person you are. You are the most amazing athlete I have ever known. You are good at everything you try, you are so handsome, you always give me the best hugs, hold the doors for me and know how to be a true gentleman.. I hope you are having so much fun in Arizona. I can't wait to see you in two weeks.
Not much else to report on. We are happier than we have ever been, healthy and loving every second of this sunny weather. Hope all is well with ya'll.

Much love,

T & C

Curtis is home!

Last Thursday, my brother in law Curtis got home from his mission in Geneva, Switzerland. He left 2 months before Trev and I got married, so as you can imagine, I was so anxious for him to get home, to get to know my "new" brother better. He served in some of the most beautiful places in the world. His pictures will knock your socks off. We are so glad that is he home. He was the greatest missionary and speaks French like he is a native. We love you Curt, so glad you are home!! Now, lets find me a sister in law!! :)

Get a load of his shoes. Can you see where he stapled him? What a good, hard working missionary!!

I am a copy cat!

My adorable friend Sami did this a few days ago. I love it so much I decided to copy.

Enjoy!

Maybe I really am ready to move and start a new adventure in a new city with my semi-new husband.

Maybe I have thought about wanting to go blonde a lot this year.

Maybe I love trashy reality television.

Maybe I really miss my sister.

Maybe I regret not telling people a lot of things I should tell them.

Maybe some days I wish I could trade wardrobes with Kendal.

Maybe I dream of a perfect little house, with an adorable family and hope my dream can become a reality sooner rather than later.

Maybe I look for flights to New York City everyday.

Maybe I want to be just like my mom when I grow up.

Maybe should wash my car today?

Maybe I hate grocery shopping with every fiber of my being.

Maybe I cry at night sometimes because I am not being the best Cassidy I can be.

Maybe I wish I could pause life and keep my little brothers perfect and innocent forever.

Maybe I really want a tattoo.

Maybe I hate change.

Maybe I love my husband so much that it overwhelms me sometimes and just cry and he thinks I am crazy.

Maybe I think I was supposed to be a Southern Belle.

Maybe I love getting dolled up for a night on the town with my man.

Maybe I love camping, and fires and smores and ghost stories.

Maybe I think my daddy is the greatest man alive.

Maybe I love being so cheesy sometimes.

Maybe I cannot wait to be a mother.

Maybe I love listening to Boyz II Men and Brandy and sing at the top of my lungs.

Maybe I love my siblings too  much.

Maybe I dream about having a job that I love everyday.

Maybe I want to change the world.

Maybe I think about what I would do with a million dollars on my way to work almost every morning.

Maybe I love my flawed, imperfect, bootylicious body.

Maybe marriage is the hardest but greatest thing that has ever happened to me.

Maybe trials make you stronger.

Maybe some days I cry to my husband because I want to take all the pain away from my loved ones who are struggling.

Maybe I am too loud and dramatic and get over excited sometimes.

Maybe I butt my nose into things I shouldn't, but I only do it out of love.

Maybe I say stupid things sometimes that make Trev and I laugh until we cry.

Maybe I love my dog, Satchel more than life itself.

Maybe I used to hate my red hair and wished my name was Anna.

Maybe I love too  much.

Maybe I crave hotdogs.

Maybe I wish I would have gone to college.

Maybe school is NOT for me.

Maybe I am so excited for my brother in law to get home from his mission TOMORROW!!!!

Maybe I don't know how to do a French braid.

Maybe I am still obsessed with Victoria Beckham.

Maybe I still get home sick and want my mom when I am sick.

Maybe I always have fresh flowers in my apartment.

Maybe my water heater broke last night and flooded my kitchen.

Maybe I already have all my kids names picked out.

Maybe I am a wedding snob.

Maybe I commute to Layton everyday for work.

Maybe I love McDonalds French fries.

Maybe  I wish my sister lived me with so we could share wardrobes.

Maybe I have said maybe to much?

Maybe I have run out of maybes?

Maybe you reading this right now will repost this?

Love, Cassidy

May Days

Gaul, I haven't posted in foreves. I don't really have much to blog about. I will fill you in on the few happenings of May.

May 2 was my parents 25th anni. We got them a night at a bed and breakfast downtown and dinner and Tucano's. Happy 25 years mom & dad. We love you!!

May 13th was my FIL's 50th birthday. We celebrated by going to dinner at Tsunami and PARA-GLIDING!! One of the highlights of the month was watching Steve para-glide. Hilarious. Then we ending the celebrating by going to our favorite "Mammoth Theater" at Thanksgiving Point to watch Tron. Those Hemsworth boys are YUMMY!!

May 21st we had a bridal shower for my sister's BFF. (Really she is the 3rd Kiser sister). We had it at the Cutler's house and it was a party. So happy for future Mrs. Hunt.

3 Generations of Gingers

May 23rd my best sissy left for a month to the faraway land of FRANCE!! I miss her more than you know, but France has been good to her and she is as beautiful as always.

Over Memorial day weekend I headed to Arizona with my Gramma and lil bro Cole. It was a quick trip, but it was a blast to get to see the Camac's and Hassell's and their new lives down there. Also, who doesn't love a little sunshine and palm tree's?

Cooper wears his cowboy boots to church. I love him.

On Memorial Day we got to go see my Grandma Udall. She is buried in the Mesa Cemetery. Come to find out, she has the same anniversary as Trev and I. I thought that was pretty neat.

All in all we had a good month. We manage to stay very very busy. School starts on Monday for Trev. I am dreading it. Back to lonely evenings alone. Anyway, we are healthy and happy and more in love than ever. Hope you all are doing well and I will possibly blog again soon?

au revoir!
